Badalgarh Fort
Badalgarh Fort was built under Mughal Ruler Nawab Fazal Khan in 16th Century. It is situated in lush green surroundings in Jhunjhunu district. The fort is witness of many legendary battles fought here. It was taken over by Rajput Ruler Shardul Singhji in 1730 when the Shekhawats took over Jhunjhunu. The palace is famous for beautiful frescoes and brilliant architecture. The flow of wind is supported by open portals rather than stopped doors and windows.
